Getting a property to separate the upgrade fee to a second folio is asking a bit much, but not impossible. Asking them is the best approach. However, if your accounting department is willing to look at the situation, you should be able to pay for your personal charges with your personal card and then settle the bill with your business card. I would then provide a side accounting showing just the business expenses matching that with the charge to the business card on the copy of the folio submitted.
I have heard of some people being able to get a FDC to generate a "modified" folio after checkout to show just the business expenses. This is really helpful if there are line items you really don't want showing (i.e. movies with titles).
