New travel monitor: Sharp LL-S201A
So I finally have gotten a reasonable deal on the Sharp LL-S201A. Unlike the AOC e2351F which I currently fly with, this is totally carry on size, cozily fits in the eBags TLS Mother Lode Convertible or any similar sized small backpack. The charger is not well defined on the Sharp page, it only says 19V and 26W / 35W (when charging a connected device via MHL). However, the N4 tip of my Rocketfish universal netbook adapter (which I also used to feed the AOC e2351F) fits perfectly and it's a 19V tip and it's a 40W adapter so there we go with the super lightweight AC adapter. Crossreferencing the N4 tells me it's a 5.5mm/2.5mm so any 5.5/2.5mm 19V adapter will do. It's a very very common voltage and plug size. This monitor is full of win if not for the ridiculous price.
The AOC was a perfect fit for the Geargrip Wide LCD protection, this one is not a good for fit for those. However it seems this is almost the same size as the Dell XPS 18 so I will find some protection options for that.
