It mentions airplane cabin was "very cold", and flight crew mentioned its like that all the time? Wonder is it really that cold, I know in Asia, most Asian airlines have a warmer cabin so I was thinking about this, or flying Alaska Air from Seattle (since I flew them before and found it a good airline)?

I was on that flight last fall when it was still mainline AC. It was freezing up front in J cabin. It was an old aircraft and my frequent experiences on them on TATLs was the usual air conditioning pac thing - up front freezing, people on the back sweating.

Not all aircraft are cold and the temp can be adjusted by the crew, but then someone else will complain they are hot.

My advice - dress in layers or at least take a warm sweater/hoodie/jacket - especially if you are in a section where you have to pay for a blanket.
