I searched the Fare Lock thread and couldn't find an answer to my question. I purchased a Fare Lock to bring my father from BOS-SFO in F-class on an upgrade. The return flight doesn't work for my father, so I would like to change it (unfortunately the upgrade is not available on the new return flight.)

Can I call reservations and have them change the return flight and still keep it on the Fare Lock time table? I still have 3 days left on my fare lock. If I re-do a Fare Lock, the price has gone up $100. The return flight is the same base fare though although without an upgrade.
