So, before boarding, the F and diamond pax formed their traditional queue before the sky priority lane, leaving a bit of space in case some pre boards needed to get by. Since I was in a bulkhead seat, I deliberately arrived at the gate early, so I could get at the beginning of the line and not have to play luggage bin Tetris. There was this male and female standing between the gate desk and the lane divider, partially blocking the general boarding lane (and the pre-boards). They seemed totally unaware that they were in the way of people who genuinely needed some extra time, like one gentleman who was shuffling very slowly with an uncertain gait. Their bags were festooned with metal diamond medallion luggage tags. After preboards were complete, the agent closes the rope across the general boarding lane, so they march right across to the sky priority lane and take their rightful positions at the head of the line. The agent then calls for premium and diamonds and they don't move - the female then begins rummaging around in the large bag she is carrying and they make no move to board. I then say to the male "excuse me, are you in first class?", to which he replies "yes, but I'm waiting for my wife. If you're in such a hurry, go ahead." Morons.
