Exactly! Did this twice from SEA in the space of two weeks. Rather enjoyable, actually. Flew to JFK, overnighted, began the SIN trip from there, and then flew back to SEA within two hours of SIN-NRT-JFK. For me, the only monotonous part was the JFK-SFO leg on the long-in-the-tooth 762s.
