Hello all, I tried searching for information on this, but didn't find quite what I was looking for.

Myself and my best friend are flying on the 777-300 from LA to Auckland, and it is just the two of us in economy.

We were looking at purchasing 35AB or JK for the flight, but were wondering this: Does the window seat (A or K) lean against the window / wall? Or is there a gap between the seat and the window as there is in the last 3 rows?

I've searched and searched and can't really find an answer to this.

We know we don't want the exit rows, as we both can't stand the fixed armrests.

Also, in regards to the last 3 rows with the pairs of seats, are they really worth paying for? They seem as though they'd be quite loud that close to the galley, etc.

Any input would be great.

P.S. I've come to terms that there just isn't a way to upgrade with miles (and I think that's sealed with the fare code we're booked into), so we're just going to make the best of it
