There are some great mileage itenerary folks on FT, and I'm hoping you can help.

Due to a lay off and a year of unemployment, I have not made United 1K this year (only 5K miles to date) Last year I flew 125K miles, and have been 1K for three years running.

Here is my challenge! Can I fly a series of trips between from SFO November 23 and December 15th to make 47000 miles? Can I do this for less than $2400-3000. (I do get a 35% discount on all UA published fares - except e-fares) I've gone to UA.com and tried some interesting multi-city trips... but keep getting errors in booking.

Have passport, little time, little $, and a great will to make 1K again - even if it lite.
