Sometimes you actually have to go all the way,that is untill the going gets tough,that would be for a substantiall amount of miles,though.
If the OP was willing to travel a little, I have heard that some guys sell miles in lego mugs.
On the serious note, I don't know if the OP is talking about the websites which sell miles, there are websites which sell miles for less but that's illegal and can result in:
- Credit card fraud
- FF accounts canceled and all miles revoked
