I'm hoping to get feedback from anyone who's rented a car from Alamo - especially at SFO.

Normally, I fly in and out of Sacramento to get to Sonoma, but this time, I have to go to San Francisco (although I'm dropping off at SMF). The cost of a rental car from SFO going back to another city is huge for Avis or Budget. My only other alternative through Costco is Alamo. I never rented from one of the "smaller" companies and I'm concered I'll be stuck in the boonies. Basically, what I'm asking: does Alamo have decent cars and service?
