true and Id agree usually but if you are flying 160,000 on AS alone per year, it might be better to bank them all into AS mileage plan. You'd hit millon miler in 6.5 years and then you would always have AS gold and could start getting status on another airline but if 160k of your travel is AS metal, how much else of it can be on another airline? Maybe I misread or misinterpreted the OPs post in regards to the 160.000 but they made it sound as if its all on AS metal. If so thats a hell of a lot of AS metal flights. Id have to do 29 RT flights between ANC and ORD to hit that in a year
