just to make sure i don't screw this up - i made a purchase, will pay it off tomorrow, statement end is approx a week. now i just wait until miles post. once miles post, i send a secure message to cancel the card. even if the annual fee is charged, i will be refunded the fee. correct?
also, what are you writing in the message? "hello - i would like to cancel this card" - would that suffice?
