I'm listening to you guys and am really thinking that the cons really counteract the pros.

While CA has a much cheaper J fare which will permit us to travel in J round trip, the airline sounds less friendly. With the electronics nonsense, the loss of wifi (assuming it works), and having to go to JFK rather than EWR, with a new family member and all of the stress that goes along with it, it doesn't sound like having the J seat on the way back is really a better deal.

Removing the JFK/EWR debacle, CA really makes UA sound, well, Flyer Friendly.
