A little update on UPG's. I booked on Site59 AA SFO-JFK-ZRH-JFK-SFO with one night at Zurich Ren for $462 after the discount, leaving 10/31 return on 11/2. (I had on hold a res on AA for SFO-DFW-ZRH-DFW-SFO for that weekend at $462, for the flight only, but requiring a Monday return. So, this made it more of a MR and they throw in the hotel room.) The seat map shows plenty of J seats on the return and some on the outbound. I called AA to use VIP03's and only the domestic segments were upgradeable. Apparently, Site59 uses S class fares, whereas on AAvacations.com, they use L. I did get 21B on the JFK-ZRH-JFK segments.
Also, Site59 does use CO and DL for some of their packages. The ones I saw were at an additional cost, so you need to scroll down.
