Glad the missing bag was resolved within a couple of hours but sorry it put a damper on your weekend. Claim screens are refreshed continuously as more info is loaded into them, might explain why your bag status went from lost to located with a short time frame.
Safe travels to you no matter who you fly.
None. I checked the bin before I left. The ziplock baggie was completely closed. I did double check my apt, though, when I got home, and didn't find. I don't think someone stole them either - let's be serious there, its travel sized stuff. But just because they aren't valuable items, doesn't mean its ok that they went missing. They shouldn't have. I packed what I needed for my trip, according to the standards set by the TSA, and honestly, the last thing I wanted to do on my short weekend trip was spend time looking for replacements. My medication was definitely something I needed, but even that could eventually be replaced worst case scenario (albeit two days later). Point being that I get that it wasn't SUCH a catastrophe, but it still shouldn't have happened. Even if it was just some contractor/non-TSA personnel taking out for whatever reason, the airline was still responsible for my things once they made me check the bag. It wasn't my fault, so I shouldn't be made to feel as if I should just deal with it. I did my part. The airline should have done theirs. I can't speak on the volume of problems they experience daily, but this was mine.
