I will be returning to the US on SAS and United. I will be flying CPH-LHR-EWR at the beginning of September. CPH-LHR is scheduled to arrive into T2 and LHR-EWR to leave from T2.

My connecting time is 60 minutes, the minimum connect time for T2-T2. How long does this connection actually take given I must go through UK airport security screening?

Unfortunately, SAS does not offer seat assignments (I don't even have the option to pay $15) because of my type of ticket and because I'm only Silver on United. I called SAS and United and agents at both airlines were equally unsympathetic, unhelpful and unwilling to give me a seat. I move fast and have been known to run through airports. With Silver, I am able to get the economy plus seats near the front on United though. Am a bit worried about this connection given I might be stuck in the back!
