For reasons of stupidity I about to fly out of LCY tomorrow without my gold card. It's never been a concern on BA flights, but I've got a busy ten days in the US, and access to AA's nicer lounges would be helpful.

Sadly, I remember having to scan cards to get in AA's lounges, whatever fine things about OW status gets printed on the boarding card.

I'm sure others have been in the same situation - is there a work round which will get me munching pretzels while I wait for flights?
