Just flew AA 123 (DFW-HNL 09:05 departure) and whilst the service/crew was excellent, the food was left to be desired. Since this is a breakfast flight, only the standard omelette and oatmeal was offered as a choice. The omelette was too salty and comes with a few pieces of sausages and potatoes. Comes with biscuit or a choice of morning bread as well as a fruit plate.

Cookies and nuts (with candied pineapple) was served prior to arrival.

Whilst it's not a fair comparison, DFW-HNL is actually longer than LHR-JFK and I am surprised by the lack of food options.

The tablets were a life saver though! ^
