I saw no media reports that linked, or attempted to link, or hinted, that the age of the aircraft was a likely cause. Any report I read or saw also mentioned that it had a fully compliant maintenance record and that maintenance was always carried out by Lufthansa Technik; one of the most trusted aircraft maintenance companies in the business.

It's to be expected that the details of the aircraft in question would be reported. They always are, in such cases. Whether some people go on to draw their own conclusions from what are mere reported facts is not the fault of those putting those facts out there.

The parents/family has to carry a large burden for the rest of the life. Then publishing the full address and showing the police taking out the proofs was bad style (and unacceptable).
I learned the address of the co-pilot's Düsseldorf apartment from a BBC news item on Saturday (the street signs were visible in one of the shots). I had been curious as to where in the city he might have lived - I lived in Düsseldorf, briefly, many years ago, and not all that far from the airport. However, when I typed the streetname into Google, several news sources were returned - all of them Italian.

It still seems to be predominantly Italian websites (one Greek one also pops up, today) that have published the street-name.
