(which the passenger in 12A couldn't possibly use), and of course have extra space in 11A missing seat.
I sit 12A often and use the 11A tray all the time to hold alcoholic drinks, snacks, ipad and reading material. The one built into the seat sucks and barely fits over my normal+ belly. Also use the 11A underseat area for my bag. Sometimes its necessary to tell 11B both of these are needed. If 12B is empty, I'll gladly use those but thats not the case lately...
