I recently had two excellent stays at the Westin Mindspace Hyderabad and the ITC Jaipur. Each provided great platinum recognition, suite upgrades, and generally perfect service.

Unfortunately, though I declined the Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) when settling the bill (and selected to be charged in the local currency), each hotel charged me in my home currency. This resulted in a 5-7% higher charge to me and more money for the hotel.

Has anyone else had this issue at either hotel, or with other SPG hotels in India? I have stayed at numerous Hyatts in India and have never had this issue, but two of two SPG properties I've stayed at have scammed me.
