I assume, by inference to the Small Claims Court, that this guy is in the UK ?In which case, based upon my experience with a well known booking on line company, who I took to the SCC last year, you are claiming financial recompense for a problem outside of your own making, in my case, £400. They didn't appear, or make any challenges, ( I didn't have to appear either) and I received a letter from the court stating this, and a week or so later, , received a cheque. I'm therefore not sure what this guy has actually claimed for, as you have to back up your claim with invoices etc.
