Is it just the sheer number of tier points that affects the CIV in this case? I've gotten a good number from AA/US domestic F (just to get me to Bronze right now, although I'll be Silver by May) and it seems strange that BA would value my spend so much on another airline (even if it is a OW partner). Does BA view this as a potential indicator that I'll purchase premium classes on BA?
