I recently traveled from ITM-HND-SFO. I was on two tickets, ITM-HND and HND-SFO, with my HND-SFO leaving the next day (0020). They did have any problems tagging my bag all the way through. I arrived about 2 hours 30 minutes before my ITM-HND flight and I had over 8 hours between the two flights.
