A: The overhead monitors not working for DFW-OGG.

This happened twice in two years while flying DFW-OGG-- no overhead monitors were working, which didn't matter for those flying First that had functional Samsung Galaxy tabs. But if you were in coach, not a fun experience, especially coupled with no complimentary meal service or a free pack of pretzels/peanuts on the ~8 hour flight.

As others have posted, not everyone brings a tablet or laptop with them, especially when on vacation for whatever reason-- something extra to lug, concern about losing the device, etc., so they rely on the plane's IFE system.
So, basically, 8 hours of this?
