I noticed this a couple of weeks ago an a trip to AMS - I was in 10A and the only other seats in row 10 occupied were D & F

Once the doors had closed someone from further back came and sat in 10D and was quickly ushered away by the crew telling him that this was a rest seat

Didn't really think much more of it but good to know not to book this particular seat
