Penguin is a few leagues above me and I never had anything to contribute to his posts but this one is an exception I never touch alcohol on the way out but coming home is a completely different story. 3 glasses of wine in a lounge is my standard+ 2 on board, talking 90 minutes flights in the west. I always Park n Fly, it gives me additional 30 minutes but the equation is 5 drinks/3 hours. I always need my fresh black coffee 20 minutes before the touchdown and FAs are often big time not impressed with such late requests. I am talking late night arrivals here when people normally don't drink coffee any more. It sucks and genuinely annoys me. It really does and I can't help it! 50/50 Y and J on upgrades.
