As someone who gets stuffy cooped up inside, the walk to the new lounge was a surprisingly pleasant experience when I did it last month. The cold winds were surprisingly refreshing (and I don't mean this in an ironic fashion - I genuinely found it pleasant to get out of the boring, stuffy airport building - AMS has particularly poor air conditioning).

The view is also really rather excellent.

Once BA move their departure gates to closer to this lounge, it will be an excellent offering in Europe. And for now, well, it's a bonus if you have time, but no great loss if not.
