Had a nice stay here. Everything was very good - and I'd definitely recommend this property if you're going to Asunción. Rooms, club lounge, gym, pool, GC, everything is nice.

I totally agree with the prior poster... everything is spread out in this city and there is no central area. I definitely am glad I didn't stay downtown in the old city. Too sketchy. Great to walk around during the day - but wouldn't want to be there the whole trip.

btw, excellent Parilla near the Sheraton called La Cabrera. It's on Ave St Teresa (exit the Sheraton and make your first right). Walk about 10 minutes and it's on the left hand side. Recommend reservations. Don't miss it - you'll love it! (they have salmon too for you non-meat eaters).

Also - there are two nice spots in the mall across the street (better than eating at the food court). One is upstairs on the 2nd floor - Tarry something or other. And then there is a beer garden outside in the back of the mall which is crowded on weekends. Both are fun spots.
