There is a rumor that the SFO - JFK route will have a change of equipment to a 2 class service, that the A321T will only be LAX - JFK. I was told this today on my LAX - JFK flight that it has been thrown around to end the trans-con service out of SFO. I hope this is nothing but a rumor. Additionally there is going to be a new caterer, a less expensive (CHEAPER) caterer.

Doesn't the SFO-JFK route have good demand for paid premium cabins and lie-flat seats?
I always thought SFO-JFK was one of the healthier routes in terms of revenue for the airline, especially revenue coming from premium cabins.
I for one, sometimes pay extra for the lie-flat seats...if they weren't lie-flat I wouldn't bother paying for domestic F/J.
