There are many perks and benefits to your job, there are also many drawbacks, like how out of 100 passengers, someone is going to be upset. I know a few former FAs who quit because if they stayed any longer they were going to "bash status fliers over the head" with a serving tray for their comments and entitlement.

PS I get the sense that the FF community is not easy to keep happy/can be quite unreasonable and demanding. I once had to be rebooked with a bunch of other elites and SEs who were being rather obnoxious. They all got rebooked, next flight, in economy. I was behind them, flight was not full, but the gate agent thanked me for being pleasant unlike some people, and I ended up in J. You get more with honey than demands when it comes to Air Canada staff. (PS my companions always get upgraded with me during op situations - even post gate control...)
