WN changed the "code" for passwords a while back. My old pswd from 15 years ago wasn't long enough and forced a reset to the new standard.
IIRC, a response to hacking attempts against easy passwords and theft of WN points.
I believe the recent change only applied to A+ passengers because of the free wifi. My wife had to change her password, but I didn't (only A-List). Still using the one from years age.
