Meant to post this when it happened. On 2/21, UA1650 ORD-DCA, was #2 on the upgrade list, and the flight went out with two empty seats in F. I e-mailed 1K desk to see if they could determine why no upgrades cleared at the gate and was told that there was no R availability at time of departure.
