If I'm interpreting your situation correctly, I have to disagree with everything that has been said (sorry!).
I have had this happen twice and both times there's been a huge kerfuffle at the airport. When I posted on here about it it seems that the problem is that when you try to do OLCI the system takes a pound and puts it back on your credit card as a security check. If you have cancelled the credit card used to purchase the ticket this check won't work adn it will be flagged. The first time it happened I didn't have even the new card (someone else had purchased the ticket for me) but it was sorted out in about 30min and they basically had to process the sale again. The second time was a huge problem for some reason, involving about an hour of the ticket lady trying to sort something out, reissue the ticket, etc. etc. It took so long that I almost missed the plane.
