From the sounds of it, there is possibility - but it's the equivalent of having a winning lottery ticket.

I do have some optimism, as the flight is over 75% full at this point and first class is only 10% full. It's a direct route from PDX-AMS.... So I'll expect NOT to get upgraded and hope to be pleasantly surprised.
