Didn't SM, just went with the hope that the 24 months applied only to the original sign up bonus, and not the additional bonus for renewing the second year, or for spending $30K (I had the former, my wife had the later).
We've both had the new cards for over 2 months now, and no dreaded letters from Chase saying we don't qualify, so I guess we are good for the bonus, and are making our min spnd right now. When the miles post to BA I'll let you know.
Update, the 52K+ miles are listed on my Chase account as having been sent to BA. So the 2 years wait is only from the original sign up bonus, not any extra bonuses that were earned later. ^
