Already the case, to some exent. If you read the NTSB report on Miracle on the Hudon, you will find the Airbus engineers' software controlled the descent of the plane into the Hudson, over-riding the command inputs from the crew.

I don't think it would be feasible to write a scenario to prevent impact like this, unfortunately.
