That really depends on how you value (and spend) your Avios. If you let's say book HKG-LHR on CX in business class (60,000 Avios plus just GBP 26 in taxes) you get much more than 0.1p per point, especially given the flexibility. If you book economy on BA in the other direction, it may even be less than 0.1p.
