Just booked Avio tickets and no email confirmation whatsoever regardless how many times I request it to be sent.
Luckily I always print a pdf file at the final page when it has a Print This Page at the right hand bottom corner - that is the ONLY way to see the e-Ticket Number as the Manage My Booking screen does not show e-Ticket Number AFAIK. (What are BA thinking? No e-Ticket number on the Manage My Booking?!)
OTOH, BA has no trouble sending all sorts of marketing junks though.

How long ago is 'just'?
I find it can take a few hours to get a confirmation email out of BA for paid bookings.
