As I say, my only experience of that tax on a redemption booking was at Marriott Champs Elysees and the redemption confirmation from Marriott was:

Room rate: €-
Taxes: €15.00

Total: €15.00

I don't have access to any certificates as I'm a Brit and evidently we floss insufficiently to qualify for cards that have free night certs
