Thanks. So if I book early it looks as if I can get the benefits of J for the price of R.
I've just seen that after the April changes, J&D classes will get 250% avios while R stays at 150% avios. So if I was bothered about collecting avios (which I'm not) I could wait until after April to book, and make sure the booking was in J or D not R.
