I see an earlier thread was pretty rapidly shut down on this forum with the mods suggestion that the unfolding tragedy be followed on the Lufthansa forum.

I hope it's not out of place to open a new one, if only for members of this forum to express deepest sympathies and solidarity with the family, friends and colleagues of those affected by today's tragic events.
