I took this flight (LHR-AUH) with my 7 year old in Jan. It was indeed the chicken and mash, set out nicely on a tray with fruit salad, chocolate etc...all very nice for a child.

As for the adult meal, it was the usual F fare for a ME flight. An Arabic meze starter, along with a fish/veggie starter, then the usual mains (fillet of beef, ME inspired fish/chicken dish and a veggie option
