The write-up of this case on the Stolen Valor web site is very confusing, but it looks like this could be a woman traveling on a man's (i.e. someone else's) ID.

If that's the case, then this goes beyond merely putting on a costume and pretending to be a soldier. It becomes traveling under an assumed name, possibly identity theft.

What I wonder is, how closely does this person resemble the photo on the ID? And why weren't the elite eagle-eyed corps of BDO's all over this person? Wasn't she showing signs of deception while traveling under a false ID in a fake uniform and pretending to be another gender? Maybe the bulky, ill-fitting ACU disguised her nervous figiting, and maybe the Urkel glasses covered up her microexpressions.

Or, maybe the BDOs were all at lunch when she transited the c/p.

While this case does not appear to constitute any threat, or any breach of security, it does serve to illustrate the utter incompetence of the people who are checking IDs and observing behaviors to detect deception. And perhaps to demonstrate that ID doesn't matter.
