I called DL in Singapore because they pick up the phone instantly over there. No waits. I do the same with BA/AA/UA it works wonders.

I've had where DL took control over different airline ticket stock such as AF and AZ in the past. So I was hoping that they will just put him on a different flight where there was no award inventory due to the lets call it IRROP situation. However the agent simply told me that because its not a real IRROP just a schedule change I have to call FB. Of course FB was not able to book him on the flight I wanted because there was no availability. A few days later I woke up to the email posted above. End of story.
