you are right to be cautious and I think it is natural that more people will pick up pen (so to speak) and complain than to praise.
There is no control over who can post but then there is none here either and I have always had some concerns over the overall Skytrax ratings that Etihad have opted out of because they do not make public the methodology which as a professional market researcher I find to be very poor practice.

The best way to evaluate these things is to look for the themes and speaking personally most of my flights with Etihad (business) have been good to excellent, the service in the lounge in Manchester superb BUT it is true that the airport at Abu Dhabi does have some problems that can detract from the overall experience (like taking longer to clear security between the terminals in the premium queue than the economy queues when I had to wait 30 minutes)
