Yeah but don't fares usually go up. Also, if you look at my receipt, it says

FARE/TARIF: 0.00
TAX/TAXE: 54.89 RC
7.13 CA
28.00 SQ

So there was no fare change, just a tax change. But WHY? I mean it's not like i'm suddenly going to Calgary instead of SEA. Oh wait, where am I again?
