I can't answer for the car models but the Gold Canopy is great because basically you get off the tram from the terminals and can walk to the lot and see the displays that will have your name and stall number on it, get in and drive.

I think you'll also get a Carfirmation email(I did for me when I landed at LAX) that shows your car or what else you can pick so turn your phone on once you land. I think I got it like 20-30 min before my listed resv time.
