Indeed. You are correct.
I did not want to get too 'technical' for the purposes of this thread. The CP ones were mostly bought new and I consider that equivalent to the one's AC bought new (CP being equivalent to AC in terms of maintenance and safety). Its not like used planes that had been knocked around from one grubby airline to the next.
Yes, there are a few outliers in the fleet, but an airline like AC can more easily assimilate them into their fleet than others.
Bottom line is they are safe. I think we agree there.
