Talking 767 washbasin- handwashing techniques

As a regular user of the GLA/EDI 767 shuttles I struggle greatly to wash my hands in the lav:
  • The sink is so shallow its not possible to put a hand in (never mind two), unless you put it flat on the basin underneath the tap, placed so low, which doesn't seem very hygienic or fill the basin which is still very shallow and not hygienic.
  • The water pressure is so incredibly high, it jets out with a constant flow (not a trickle like on say an Airbus) that will cover your clothes in a few seconds. This means its very difficult to wash the soap off if the first issue has not been a problem.
  • Hot is very hot so you need to juggle pressing both hot and cold together to get a decent mix, enhancing the water pressure leading to more splashing unless you want cold.

I searched FT and didn't find a similar thread, but how can this not be an issue? The only conclusion I can come to (considering every tiny thing is complained about here) is that many of you must have a solution or don't bother . So please, tell me what it is!
